What fits in a visit

Light tasks agreed in writing, and what we decline.

What we decline

Declined, not surcharged

  • Hauling
  • Disposal and dump runs
  • Hazardous materials
  • Heavy lifting
  • Ladder work
  • Anything that needs a license or a permit

If your list includes any of these, we say no to that item in writing. We do not add a fee to take it on.

How pricing works

$249, with any change confirmed in writing first.

  • $249 covers one visit of up to two hours on site for the tasks we agreed on in writing.
  • If materials, permitted extras, or approved travel apply, you get a revised written total before any work starts. Work does not start until you agree to it.
  • Core route: Temecula and Temecula wine country. Other areas are quoted individually.
  • Payment details are included in your written acceptance. There is no checkout or card form on this site.

How to book

A clear scope before the visit.

  1. Step 1Send your list

The address, property size, the tasks, and preferred visit windows (Mon–Sat, 9–5).

  2. Step 2We confirm in writing

Route availability, which tasks fit, and the full price, or which items we decline.

  3. Step 3Written acceptance

A request is not a booking. A visit is booked only when we send written acceptance.

  4. Step 4Completion photos

Dated completion photos arrive after the visit.

Need something else?

Regular checks or a fire notice.

Away and want eyes on the property every month? See Property Watch, from $299/month. Got a weed or fire Notice to Abate? See notice clearance, $350–$950 one time. The Property Help Visit does not include notice clearance.

Disclosure

Not a licensed contractor.

Red Gate Ranch and Home Services is not a licensed contractor. We do not pull permits, we have no employees, and we do not split a project into smaller jobs to get around licensing rules.

When California's minor-work exemption applies, the total cost of a project, labor and materials together, stays strictly under the state's $1,000 limit for unlicensed work. Work that needs a license or a permit is declined.

Help Visit questions

Is this a handyman service?

It is a single visit for light, pre-agreed tasks: light cleanup, simple assembly or adjustment, or vendor access. We are not a licensed contractor, so anything that needs a license or permit is declined, along with ladder work, heavy lifting, hauling, disposal, and hazardous materials.

Can you come today?

We cannot promise same-day visits. Visits are scheduled and confirmed in writing, subject to route availability.

Do you supply materials?

If materials, permitted extras, or approved travel apply, you get a revised written total before any work starts. Work does not start until you agree to it.

Where do you work?

Our core route is Temecula and Temecula wine country. Other areas are quoted individually.

Tell us about your property.

Send the address, property size, and what you need. We will confirm whether it fits the route and agree on the scope, schedule, and price in writing.
