Regular eyes on a property you cannot always visit.
Property Watch is for second-home owners and owners who are away regularly. On a set schedule, we follow an agreed route through the accessible areas of your property, document what we observe, and let you know about concerns, so you can decide what happens next from wherever you are.

How to start
A clear scope before the first visit.
Step 1Tell us about the property
Send the address, property size, the plan you are considering, and preferred visit windows (Mon–Sat, 9–5).
Step 2Agree on the details
We confirm route availability, accessible areas, the checklist, schedule, and the full price in writing.
Step 3Confirm your service
We agree on access, billing, and cancellation terms. Your inquiry alone does not enroll or charge you.
Step 4Receive your reports
After each check, receive the checklist, dated photos, and a written report.
Please arrange gate codes and other sensitive access details separately, not in your first email.
Disclosure
Not a licensed contractor.
Red Gate Ranch and Home Services is not a licensed contractor. We do not pull permits, we have no employees, and we do not split a project into smaller jobs to get around licensing rules.
When California's minor-work exemption applies, the total cost of a project, labor and materials together, stays strictly under the state's $1,000 limit for unlicensed work. Work that needs a license or a permit is declined.
Property Watch questions
How often do you visit?
Two scheduled checks per monthly service period on Property Watch, or four on Property Watch Plus. Visits are scheduled and confirmed in writing, subject to route availability.
What does a property check cover?
A scheduled visual check follows a 30–45-minute agreed route through accessible areas. We send a checklist, dated photos, and a written report, and notify you of concerns we observe. The route and any areas we cannot access are documented. This is not a technical inspection or a guarantee that every problem will be found.
What if you notice a problem?
We notify you of what we observed, with photos, and you decide the next step. On Property Watch Plus, we can spend up to 30 minutes per month arranging appointments with vendors you approve. Vendor work and fees are separate and require your approval.
Can you respond to an emergency or an alarm?
No. We cannot promise same-day visits or emergency response, and we do not provide continuous monitoring or security services.
What costs extra?
Large properties, additional buildings, extra checks, hands-on tasks, extended vendor waiting, materials, and travel outside the core route may need a separate quote. We confirm a revised written total and get your agreement before doing extra work.
Where do you work?
Our core route is Temecula and Temecula wine country. Send your address so we can confirm route fit and pricing. Other areas are quoted individually.
How do billing and cancellation work?
We set the monthly service period, billing, scheduling, and cancellation terms in writing before you enroll. A website inquiry creates no subscription and no charge. There is no checkout or card form on this site.
Tell us about your property.
Send the address, property size, and what you need. We will confirm whether it fits the route and agree on the scope, schedule, and price in writing.
